How to Join Future Forest Activities
1. As Green Corps staff
Green Corps staffs are 10- 12 individuals who take responsibility in the full administration of selecting, training, leading the Green Corps, including post-event managements of tree-planting activities in China, which is the core activity of Future Forest. The announcement is made between the end of December and the next year January.
2. As Green Corps
Green Corps are a team of 60 individuals, undergraduate and postgraduate who executes tree-planting activities in China to combat the Yellow dust storms that pervades Korea each Spring. They are selected through application and interviews, and through preliminary education, Future Forest raises consciousness on environmental, volunteerism, exchange and co-operation activities to the participants. Through a week of visiting China the Green Crops experience various activities including tree-planting aimed to realized the dangers of deforestation, cultural exchange within youths of China and Korea, and construct a human networks as leaders of the future.
3. As Chinese Youth Delegates Invitation Event staff
Chinese Youth Delegates which consists of 200 individuals who visit Korea for 10 days during July-August tours important industrial institutions and participates in Cultural and academic exchange events, aimed to enhance friendship between China and Korea. The staffs are responsible to act as courteous hosts to the visitors.
4. As Chinese Youth Elite Invitation Event Staff
Every November, staff invites and co-ordinates some 100 Chinese youths located in Beijing, to participate in Korea-China Youth Elite Forum and in other environmental, academic and cultural exchange programs.
5. Others
Other than the activities enlisted above, Future Forest organizes and executes on-and off tree-planting and other environmental activities, we also offer chances to those who are not a member to participate and assist in our actions. Also, Future Forest is open to support from individuals, organizations, public funds and private enterprises.
