| People face pivotal moments a few times in their life. I also have encountered some pivotal moments in my life, which gave me huge impact on my life. But if somebody asks me if I can measure and classify the significance of them, I will always answer that my number one is ?Futureforest.? Futureforest is literally a NGO for environmental protection and youth exchange between Korea and China. But it has been a club as well as a school and a family for me. |  |
Firstly, Futureforest gave me priceless friends. I used to have many friends, but since I joined Futureforest, most of my best friends are from Futureforest. Futureforesters are international, innovative and enthusiastic but natural. we are all different and each has his or her own talent, but we share common value. So we are friends, who are not only to play with, but also to learn from and rely on. Furthermore, futureforesters always inspire me to have a bigger dream, and guide me to achieve the dream.
Secondly, Futureforest gave me immeasurable experience. While I help to manage various programs in Futureforest, I have gained various experiences, which can not be acquired somewhere else. Futureforest holds many events for environmental protection and cultural exchange, and the staffs who are in charge of operation are not the professionals but the students of Futureforest. Therefore, while Futureforesters are students, we can learn responsibilities, communication skills, and leadership as a leader.
Lastly, but the most importantly, Futureforest gave me confidence. This is something in line with friends and experiences. Whenever I do something with Futureforesters, I am full of passion and energy, so I believe that I am capable of incredible things with these friends. Since I joined Futureforest, I have confronted many challenges and difficulties, but the confidence that I gained in Futureforest empowered me to win them.
Since I joined Futureforest four years ago, I have been a committed member of Futureforest. Therefore, I have had a number of chances to not just attend but lead various activities in Futureforest and I gained friends, experiences and confidence, which are the most valuable treasures in my life. I am so proud of being a member of Futureforest, and this is why my English name is 'Forest.'
